HOUSE RULES

Dear members,

Welcome to Complex Forme Health and Wellness Centre, thank you for choosing us to provide and guide you on your health and wellbeing journey we look forward to witnessing your evolution. With that in mind we do have some membership guidelines and rules or as we’d like to call them “house rules” that are necessary to keep things running smoothly for all members and our staff. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with our house rules. 

 

HOUSE RULES

at COMPLEX FORME HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTRE

Ensures we keep ourselves nice and safe while maintaining excellent standards in our facility.  So that you, can come experience the difference we offer and enjoy your health and wellbeing journey along with everyone else in the facility.

 

PLEASE UNDERSTAND These rules can not be broken. If you do not comply, we may ask you to leave the facility, deny you facility access, or (if it’s really serious) terminate your Membership. However we promise to be fair when applying our Rules (which we’ll do at our discretion). We don’t want you to feel like “big brother is watching” but, we will consistently apply our Rules so that everyone can work out in a safe and comfortable environment.

 

CHANGES?: We may change these house rules occasionally. When this happens, we’ll let you know in advance by putting notices around the complex, adding important changes to our website and across our social media accounts. Please be sure to keep an eye out for any changes.

 

READY, SET, GO!

1.Be kind to yourself. 2.Talk to your doctor before starting a new fitness program or using our facilities. 3. All members and guests must fill in a Health Check Questionnaire before using our facilities. 

 

MEMBERSHIP. 4.Every time you enter our facility please present your Membership Card to allow you access. 5. No-one else may use your Card. 6. If your Card is lost or stolen, you’ll need to organise a new one and pay the replacement fee. 7. If your Membership Dues aren’t up to date, or your Membership is frozen, suspended or terminated, Club access will be denied.

 

BRINGING A FRIEND? We encourage members to bring a friend and share what the fuss is all about. When we have scheduled classes like this, we ask that you abide by the following. 8.Guests must play by these House Rules too, which may include completing a Health Check before using the facility. 9. You must accompany your guest(s) at all times, be responsible for their behaviour and make sure that they play by these House Rules. Please don’t leave our facility prior to your guest’s departure. 10. You may not access our facility as a guest if your Membership is frozen.

 

GENERAL CLUB USE 11. We’ll post opening and closing times on display boards and our website (www.complexforme.com). 12. Don’t bring alcohol or illegal drugs into our facility. 13. Please don’t consume food in or around areas of exercise. 14. You may bring guide dogs into our facility. 15.Carers may enter with the member they are caring for but cannot workout in the facility when caring for a member. 16. Don’t use the Club facilities while under the influence of alcohol, anticoagulants, antihistamines, beta blockers (unless you provide a letter from your doctor), narcotics or tranquillisers. 17. Don’t smoke inside or near the entrance to our facility. 18. Please leave the facility punctually and prior to our published closing times 19. If you are taking photos or videos in our facility please respect other members’ privacy including ensuring that you do not photograph or film members without their consent and by ensuring that you are not detracting from other members’ experience using the Facility. 20.Absolutely no photos or videos are permitted in the change rooms. No photos or videos in or around the pool during the hours when children attend their learn to swim classes. We reserve the right to ask you to delete content if we deem it inappropriate. 21. You’ll need to pay for any loss or damage caused by you or your guests while in the facility.

 

THE TRAINING FLOOR AND STUDIOS 22. Use equipment for its intended purpose. Follow the instructions provided, including instructions given by our team members. Ask for help if you need it. Please do not bring your own equipment into our facility. Items such as boxing gloves and yoga mats are ok. If you are unsure of what you can bring, check with our team. Be sure to let us know if any of our equipment is broken or unsafe. 23. No food or bags on the training floor or studios. 24. Only drinks in plastic or aluminium bottles containing water or sports drinks are OK to bring onto the training floor and studios. No glass bottles please. 25. Please think of other people by replacing weights and equipment after use. 26.A towel must be used on all equipment and whenever in a class or on the training floor. 27.Please wipe down equipment after use

 

 CLASSES 28. Some group exercise classes need to be pre-booked as they have maximum head-counts. Timetables and instructors may change without notice. We will post the details around the complex and through social media when needed. 29. If you’re more than 5 minutes late for a group exercise class you will not be able to join in. We want to start classes on time because your time is precious. Please arrive a few minutes early to get organised. And make sure you warm up before you get physical. 30. Our instructors will limit the number of attendees to set class numbers. 31. Please follow all instructions given by our amazing instructors.

 

WHAT (NOT) TO WEAR 32. Wear exercise gear fit for purpose must be worn at all times in our facility. For example, t-shirts/tops (no bare chests, thank you in advanced) and closed footwear must be worn at all times including when moving between classes and change rooms. No shoes are OK only when you’re in the change room, pool, spa or sauna area or when attending classes like yoga. 33. If you’re unsure of what to wear, do not hesitiate to ask a staff member.

 

LOCKERS, CHANGEROOMS AND BELONGINGS 34. Lockers are available to store your belongings when using our facility (subject to availability). We can’t guarantee that the use of a locker will stop theft or damage to your stuff from occurring. 35. Lockers may only be used for the usual suspects -like gym kits, toiletries and the clothes you have on when you arrive. Don’t keep anything else in your locker. If we have reasonable grounds for suspecting that a locker is being used for something else, we reserve the right to open it and remove any offending items. 36. Lockers are available for use only while you’re on the premises.

 

THE POOL 37. For health, safety and hygiene reasons you must always listen and obey the instructions of our staff. You should always wear a swimming costume 38. Be aware that the pool attendants are not on duty at all times. 39. Swimming caps are recommended for people with shoulder length hair or longer. Please always shower before entering the swimming pool. 40. Only drinks in plastic or aluminium bottles containing water or sports drinks are OK to bring into the pool and spa area. No glass bottles please. 41. No food or electronic items in the pool and spa area. 42. Please leave any bags in the lockers provided. Any items required for the pool and spa must be placed on benches provided not on the floor.

 

SAUNA, SPA 43. For health, safety and hygiene reasons members and guests should: a. shower before entering the sauna and spa; b. sit on a towel when using the sauna; c. never shave in the sauna; d. not use oils, creams or cosmetic products in the sauna; e. not take newspapers or any paper in the sauna; f. not attempt to dry clothing in the sauna (it’s a serious fire hazard); and g. not wet the hot coals. 44. Sauna, spa and plunge pool (where applicable) users must be at least 16 years old. Children are not allowed in the spa, plunge pool or sauna at any time. 45. Use the sauna and relaxation areas in moderation (not more than 20 minutes each time), and take heed of any relevant medical advice. 46. Use the spa in moderation (not more than 20 minutes each day) and take heed of relevant medical advice. 47. Pregnant women should avoid using the spa and sauna.

 

PERSONAL TRAINING 48. Only Complex Forme Health and Wellness Fitness Professionals or those who have obtained a personal training contract with Complex Forme Health and Wellness Centre can provide personal training in our facility. Please don’t bring your own trainer into our facility. SAFETY 49. Don’t mess around with fire doors or fire exits. 50. Please follow any health and safety notices displayed in our facility. 51.Please let a Complex Forme Health and Wellness Centre team member know if you are hurt or injured before you leave the Club. 52. In an emergency or when an announcement is made, please listen and follow the Club staff’s instructions at all times. If you don’t evacuate when asked we will treat this as a serious breach of these Rules.

 

LAST BUT NOT LEAST 53. Complex Forme Health and Wellness Centre may occasionally take photographs/ images of the Club and its facilities (including members). We’ll try our best to get your OK beforehand (so you can glam up) but this may not always be possible. We reserve the right to use these photographs/images for commercial purposes without payment.

 

BE AWARE We use CCTV to monitor any incidents. 54. Club Price Lists will change from time to time. 55. We reserve absolute discretion when approving Membership applications. 56. Always respect other members, guests and our staff. Please use the Complex Forme Health and Wellness Centre in a way that doesn’t disturb, detract or impair anyone’s experience
